Summer 1988, right after sailing from the Caribean to the Vineyard on Zorra. Thanks to Carrol Salguero for taking this picture. That same winter I started building my first boat shown in the next picture.
Designed by Jeffrey Craig, built by me. I spent many enjoyable days sailing this little boat around Vineyard Haven.
I built this skiff in 1993. The next picture shows one of her earliest voyages from New Orleans' Southern Yacht Club out into Lake Ponchartrain. We later upgraded the outboard to a 55 HP Johnson and Evinrude. Great fishing skiff for the Mississipi Delta.
We call her the Pressure Drop. Thanks to Jill for the picture.
Fast forward to the year 2000. I was working on my senior design project for the University of New Orleans. This is the test tank model for an Open 60.
I built this model Easter 2000 in the boatyard (Maritime Systems) in Slidell LA. Talking about Louisisana...
Who says we aren't living in Paradise? 3106 Lookout Place Slidell LA.
Greg, duck hunting on the Westbank with the mighty Norinco.
Across the bayou from my house. And speaking of the dog:
Jake the squirrel dog. He can just about climb trees.
MAC (1998 - 2001). She deserves her own page. I will get around to posting her story here later.
